The New Apostolic Church is a global Christian Church, established in the first third of the 19th century. It is led by Apostles.
Faith
New Apostolic Christians believe in the Triune God: Father, Son, Holy Spirit. The doctrinal statement is based on the gospel of Jesus Christ. The Apostles see it as their commission to proclaim His message and prepare for His return.
The aim of their faith is preparation for the return of Jesus Christ and eternal life with God.
The New Apostolic Church knows three sacraments:
All of the three sacraments are also dispensed upon children.
Fellowship
The New Apostolic Church is a lively, committed community with a versatile offer for everyone.
The centre of life in the congregation is the divine service with celebration of Holy Communion as the climax. There is no prepared sermon; the ministers commissioned to conduct a divine service put their trust in the power of the Holy Spirit. Basis for the sermon is a Bible word.
An important element in the life of the congregation is the fellowship and coexistence among all believers. Community in the congregation means: to believe and hope together, to bear sorrow and experience joy together, to celebrate divine services together, to respect each other and to be there for each other.
All members are entitled to individual pastoral care. Personal conversations about concerns of their faith and natural life and the care in specific situations are included.
