Welcome to the website of the International Church Convention of the New Apostolic Church "ICC"

On June 6, 2014, the International Church Convention of the New Apostolic Church (ICC) will be declared open in Munich. For the first time the New Apostolic Church International organizes such a great event to which all Church members and guests are cordially invited.

On the event grounds, the Olympic Park in Munich, between 40.000 and 60.000 participants from Germany, Europe and overseas are expected from June 6 - 8, 2014. On the three days of the event a various program with lectures, workshops, music, exhibitions, discussion forums, etc., will be offered. As the result of a decision made by the Munich city council, the grounds have been provided free of charge for this event.

The climax is the divine service with Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider, which will be held in the Olympic Stadium on Pentecost Sunday and to which all participants of the Church Convention are invited. Further events of the Church Convention in the Olympic Stadium are a concert on Saturday as well as the festive opening on Friday. 

Already in 2009, during the European Youth Day in Düsseldorf, the idea for an international Church Convention was born. The persons responsible and especially the church leaders were fascinated by the enthusiasm of the many young believers from different European countries and the positive response of the large participant crowd. In the course of the last years, the idea of a Church Convention was followed up further.

District Apostle Michael Ehrich and his staff worked out the idea, put it in concrete form and presented it during a meeting of all District Apostles. Conducted by Chief Apostle Wilhelm Leber the decision was finally made in November 2011 to carry out the first International Church Convention of the New Apostolic Church in Munich in 2014.

Munich lies in the center and it is easy to reach by plane, train and car. Being a former Olympic city as well as a central point for great events, fairs and conventions, Munich additionally offers the necessary infrastructure.
