(07.06.2014) The Tölz Boys‘ Choir belongs to the most disciplined and moreover most talented boy’s choirs; they could show this impressively at the International Church Convention (ICC) in Munich. More than 375 visitors crowded in the Event Arena Studio on the Olympic Park when it was said: Rise the curtain for the world-famous Tölz Boys‘ Choir.
The 35 boys formed a four-part choir under direction of Ralf Ludewig and were accompanied by piano and kettledrum. His musical repertoire is composed of pieces of music of quite different epochs – from the Middle Age up to the modern age. Works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Joseph Haydn, Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy and Franz Schubert form a main emphasis of the musical skill of the boy choir.
During the ICC the boys filled the visitors with enthusiasm with the "Highlights of the Requiem of Mozart". After the euphoric reaction of the audience to the musical skill the boys‘choir played two folk songs as encore.
